Yoga Therapy is a synthesis of elements from classic yoga and modern psychology. We use postures, breathing and dialogue. Through specifically selected postures and breathing patterns, any area of the body may be facilitated.

Dialogue between the practitioner and the client allows the client to recognize the body/mind interaction. Through verbal expression, somatic release is immediate, palpable and lasting.

Sessions are private and confidential. Sessions are generally 90 minutes long. Some clients prefer several sessions to “peel the onion” of what has brought them to yoga therapy, others come only occasionally as things come up.

60 minutes: $80
SEMI-PRIVATE YOGA
2 persons: 60 minutes, $120

Private Therapeutic Yoga

Private Therapeutic Yoga is medically based asana (postures) and pranayama (connected breathing) in response to physical conditions and for prevention of illness and/or injury. Sports aficiandos come for training and advantage in their competitive endeavors. Yoga practitioners come to polish the practice and to receive pointers and checks on specific asanas. Those in recovery come for cleansing, strength and flexibility enhancement. Some come because public classes simply are not for them. Whatever your intention, consider Private Yoga for yourself or a small group. $80 per hour for the first person, $120 for two, $160 for three.
